About the Site

This site is ran with the goal of making an unbiased archive of
(what I consider) wrongdoings in the space of art.
The secondary motivation for this is to hopefully bring extra light
to the subjects in this archive, which will focus on video games for now.

There is an immense amount of abuse, misconduct, waste, and ultimately the loss of potential
within the scene of video game creation and management.
When I say management, I am referring to the larger figures who make all
big game studios possible at the scale they are, but ironically are the demons
who plague potential as well.

We so often associate companies who create games with the fun that
we have when playing their games. While that is fair and some studios absolutely
deserve that association, others will abuse it and take advantage of their
developers or players. These real people and real customers receive the
treatment of being just an another asset or source of income.

Considering how important games are to the modern world, this is absolutely
unacceptable. People refer to the "good days" of games, and if you ask
them to elaborate, usually they miss qualities that have now been destroyed of by big companies.
It is the common story of big company VS. little consumer, but it is very very real.
In a countereffort to this, I hope people will continue to do everything that they
can to keep this medium of media human, and not as a new market category.
There are many good efforts in doing this (ex. Indie developers), but
it is very possible for bigger studios to coexist with creativity instead of fighting it.

All this to say, I am often frustrated that there can be so much greed intertwined with
one of the most exciting mediums of art to ever exist.
It desperately needs to change, as what happened to the internet is actively happening to
video games now.

So please, if you are interested, stick around and stay up-to-date with
what is happening in these regards. I will do my best to highlight important stories
here and share them with others.
